Student Driving Survey Findings (pdf)
  • 40% of students drive alone because they do not have a carpool option.
  • 35% of students would carpool if they had carpool partners.
  • 30% of students would not drive alone if incentives for biking, walking and carpooling were offered by the college.
Student Needs Survey Findings (pdf)
Reprioritize the Student Life mission to focus on:
  • Finance was ranked the most important need (50.9%). 
  • Parking was ranked the second most important need (21.4%). 
  • Technology was the third most important need (15.7%).

    45.5% are neutral or feel that the fee is unreasonable
  • Internet Access
    9.5% don’t have home access
  • Personal Computer
    93% have a Windows PC
    35% of these are laptops
  • Wireless
    36% have used the campus wireless service
  • Blackboard
    90.5% have used Blackboard
    10% were dissatisfied

  • 35% did not drive alone to campus.
  • Students tended to drive alone in the mornings.
  • Carpools were generally two persons per vehicle.
