Assessment Planning Team

The Assessment Planning Team was convened fall 2002 with the mission of fostering the understanding and use of assessment throughout the College and facilitate the incorporation of assessment plans, at all levels of the institution, into a comprehensive, systematic institutional assessment process. 

 

Heading into 2008-09 – year six of unified College assessment planning – APT will remain a special purpose committee.  The APT will meet quarterly, with additional support work ongoing through the use of technology and sub-group meetings with various campus interests as needed.  The mission will remain fostering the understanding and use of assessment at an institutional level and will be accomplished by continued facilitation of assessment tools, trainings, resources and ideals, and expansion of the advisory role, to promote a cohesive institutional coordination of assessment efforts.

 

Tasks for this group will include:

 

» Review/Promotion of the Assessment Web Community

» Advisor for Institutional Effectiveness Reporting

» Research/Development/Promotion of Institutional Level Assessment Tools

» Advisor for the analysis & implementation of CCSSE results

» Sponsor/Promote annual Assessment Symposium and/or training opportunities
