Institutional Assessment

In a meeting the COCC Board of Directors’ established mission to be a leader in regionally and globally responsive adult, lifelong, postsecondary education for Central Oregon, COCC maintains focus on student learning while honoring relationships within the public and business communities throughout the district. In an ongoing effort to improve services, the College engages in a comprehensive assessment effort that incorporates all facets of the institution.

At the institutional level….

  • Institutional Effectiveness Reports
    Annual reports which provide key effectiveness indicators based on assessment of student achievement in programs and services offered throughout the College.
  • Board Mission, Vision & Goals
    Central Oregon Community College will be a leader in regionally and globally responsive adult, lifelong, postsecondary education for Central Oregon.
  • Vision Concept Paper
    Written to complement and support COCC’s Mission and Vision Statement with broad guidelines that direct the management of COCC and its relations with others.
  • Accreditation
    All members of the Commission submit regular annual reports that briefly note any major changes, as well as a more developed Interim Report every 5 years and a Comprehensive Self Study Report every 10 years: these major reports are accompanied by a visit of Commission-appointed evaluators.
